I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Agilysys (Alpharetta, GA) in May 2018
Interview
I was emailed several programming problems to solve and send back with varying levels of complexity, but relatively simple. They were actually pretty fun to solve and not the uselessly extreme problems that some companies often employ.
Following a positive code review, Agilysys followed up with an in-person interview with two panels of two employees each at the office. This was also a pretty positive experience, and everyone I spoke with was very positive and outgoing. Both panels were a fair mix of software knowledge and general HR-y stuff to dig into your personality, but nothing too out of the ordinary. There was one coding problem to solve and it was very simple.
I can't give any guidance on how to do well at this, sadly. I'm perplexed myself that I did not receive an offer; a high GPA, years of experience, I breezed through all of the software questions, and I meshed really well with everyone I spoke to. I couldn't tell you what else they could've wanted (nor have they given me feedback). All the same, it was a very positive experience, and I would highly recommend others to give it a shot.
