I received an email invite for Skype interview with recruiter. The administrator was supposed to forward me her Skype name and failed to do so, and I couldn't get a hold of anyone at the office which resulted in a lot of panic the day of. The recruiter ended up called my cell phone and turns out there was also a miscommunication regarding the time (I was in a different time zone than the office). Skype interview itself was more like a comfortable conversation. After not hearing anything for a week I followed up with the recruiter who informed me the position had moved from temporary to permanent and thus had to be reposted. About a month after my initial interview I had a second Skype interview with the same recruiter and the Health and Safety Manager. Interview was once again easy, no technical questions. Another 6 weeks go by and I haven't heard anything so I follow up with the recruiter once again, she immediately emailed back to say despite my strong interviews they were going with another candidate.
