I recently had an interview for Data scientist position at Agoda. It was one of the worst interview experiences of my life, I will explain why. First of all the interviewer was behaving rudely. He asked me to explain about my research during my PhD. But as I start explaining he would interrupt me and start talking about something irrelevant and propose something which is not technically correct or related. This kept happening for almost half an hour and at the end he concluded that I could not explain well. In the second part, he kept asking me questions about statistics. At the end one coding question related to probability. During the entire interview for more than an hour there was not a single question about data science or machine learning algorithms. The most annoying thing about this interview was the behaviour of the interviewer.
