      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Aha! (Menlo Park, CA)

      Interview

The interview process I experienced for my Marketing role is what I would call a "car wash". I spoke with 5 different employees/managers with 8 interviews over the course of 9 days. All of the video meetings were very organized, conversational, and enjoyable. I also appreciated that I was able to meet with so many people, cross functionally, as well as the CEO, to understand the types of people who work for the company.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Aha! in Jun 2019

      Interview

After applying I received an email from HR within a day or so. A screening video interview took place a day or so later. Lasted 30 minutes, person who interviewed me was very nice. This was an opportunity for them to learn more about me and me to learn more about the company. I then moved on to an interview with my potential supervisor. During this video interview they identified fairly quickly that it was not a fit due to my not having experience in the software industry. (This wasn't something the job ad specified, unfortunately.) If you're interviewing with this company, spend some time on their website. They make it pretty clear what they are looking for and they are super transparent about what to expect. I was disappointed not to move further in the interview process, but I also appreciated that they didn't waste my time and that they clearly work hard to select people who will be a fit with their culture.
