The interview process was through an agency, I don't like these but I was desperate for a job. Things went south when I was clearly the most qualified, got the runaround with no feedback for weeks, and then ghosting from them. When I finally got a response (because clearly, they couldn't think of a good reason) it dawned on me that the likelihood for my experience is because they didn't want to hire a woman. The whole building contained men from what I saw, I wasn't the right 'fit' as they finally said. They went on to repost the ad and still didn't give any logical answer as to why they said no to me when I said I was still very interested in the position as it was available again.
