The folks I interviewed with were very professional, kind, funny, and seemed like great people to work with. I enjoyed the interviews with the hiring manager and their team. I interviewed twice with the company in the last couple of years.
First time, I did three interviews. I felt pretty confident after the third interview, the recruiter said all that’s left is to get final approval through finance before they send an offer. So I waited to hear back but heard nothing. I sent an email a week later, still no news from finance the recruiter said. Then I sent another email a week after that and didn’t hear back at all. About a month and half later I sent another email just so I could get some closure and they said they decided to move on with another candidate.
Second time, I did two interviews. Both interviews I felt went well, the hiring manager at the end of the interview told me he would have the recruiter reached out to me about setting up a third interview. Again, no word. At this point I’m not going to bother sending any more follow up emails because they are simply wasting my time.
I’ve been ghosted not once but twice from this company. If this is how they treat their potential hires, it makes you wonder what it’s actually like working there. Either way it put a bad taste in my mouth, I really had a great time interviewing with them and am fond of the companies products and culture. However, this will be the last time I apply. I spoke with a few people that work there and told me this has been a known issue for sometime and have spoken with other peers who have interviewed there and they have said they have had similar experiences. Maybe their recruiters are contractors but something needs to be done about it. To be ghosted during these times is incredibly frustrating and disrespectful; they should know better.
