Airtame got in touch with me a few days after I applied through LinkedIN.
-Spoke with Daniel in USA over hangouts. This was the first interview and we mostly covered my work history and Airtame's history/what they were looking for. The conversation flowed really well, and he recommended I speak with Kristian (head of customer support in Denmark).
-Kristian and I spoke more in depth about my experience as a senior client services manager, and why I wanted to come work for Airtame. I wrote in my notes how enthusiastic he was, and how much he believed in the product and support team. This was really important to me.
-After the call with Kristian I was invited in to the office in Brooklyn to meet with one of the founders, Brian, who happened to be visiting from Denmark (the company is based out of Copenhagen). Brian was really great, and we spent most of the conversation discussing my previous experience working for a growing European company in the United States.
-I was invited back in to speak with Lars, who is the US VP and office manager in NYC. We had a great conversation about my personal and professional goals, and the future of Airtame/ how I could be an asset to the company.
Every person I spoke with seemed just as interested in my professional experience as my personal hobbies and goals. This was really refreshing!
A few days later I got an offer, and accepted!
