After I applied for the role, I received an email very quickly to set up an initial screening call. The recruiter was friendly and asked some interesting questions, but it was a longer than normal screening call at 45 minutes. Then after saying they would be in touch to set up some time with the Hiring Manager, I just never heard back from them, no feedback, nothing. So I would say don’t engage with a candidate if you’re not prepared to follow through with the interview process.
