Had a poor experience with the initial HR “recruit” round, even before any hiring manager showed interest in my profile. The process feels completely backwards: if a hiring manager is genuinely interested, that is when HR should step in to check budget, level, and basic fit, not the other way around.
Instead, they push candidates into a generic recruiter call that adds no value and wastes both my time and the HR’s time. It’s obvious these booking systems and scheduling platforms are being used at scale, and HR just fires off invitations as long as the job is open, without first checking whether the role, compensation, and expectations actually align with the candidate’s background.
Overall, it felt transactional and poorly thought through, more like being processed by a tool than evaluated by a serious hiring team. I left the experience with no confidence that the interview process is structured around respect for candidates’ time or genuine hiring intent.
