      VP Sales Interview

      Sep 9, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aisera (New York, NY) in Mar 2019

      Interview

Was contacted by an outside contingency recruiter trolling through LinkedIn for candidates in similar / competitive organizations. He was the most professional out of the folks I spoke with. It was downhill from there. I ultimately spoke with the CMO & CEO (separately), from both of whom I got a number of red flag signals. At the end of the CMO chat I was asked to name a list of companies with whom I worked that I'd target. Bad form to say the least, especially as I'm at a potential competitor. Second red flag was that when I was asked by the CEO to sign and NDA, even though I'd already signed one, the "new" NDA had clauses that made anything I disclosed their intellectual property...which again put me in direct conflict with my current employment agreement. After I was clear that I was not going to sign a second NDA with such risks tied to it I never heard back. Serial entrepreneurs, playing less than clean ball is my read.
