      Sales Interview

      Apr 24, 2023
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Aisera

      Interview

Started off really good, the hiring manager that I would be reporting to was great and down to earth, we hit it off and I really wanted to keep pursuing. I had follow-up interviews with the Channel director and interim CRO, which were both fine, no serious red flags. The red flags started when I was scheduled for an interview with the CEO at 930pm, which he didn't show up for. It was after this that I decided to check the glassdoor reviews....I've never seen such abysmal reviews for a company, primarily about the CEO. I'm a gracious person though so I re-scheduled the interview with the CEO...again they scheduled it for 930pm. He was late again and rude, didn't apologize for having to re-schedule or for being 15 minutes late to the interview he did make. The process itself with the CEO was one of the worst conversations I've ever had in an interview process. He told me a different number for salaray then what I was told by the recruiting company, I was told that interviewing with him would be the final interview however during our conversation he said I'd need to interview with 3 other people...I kid you not, one of his questions was "what are you not good at?", who asks that? Anyway, I got back to the recruiting company and gave them this feedback and withdrew my name from the interview process. Until Muddu is gone I would not start the interview process.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aisera in Jan 2023

      Interview

The interview process was relatively standard apart from the requirement to pitch to the CEO as though he were a customer prospect. This in and of itself isn't unheard of but his expectation of what you could pitch given that he hadn't shared any detail about the service offering was out of line. I was hired so this isn't me being bitter, This really served as insight into just how difficult and involved a personality the CEO is from the interview until your final days ion the company.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Aisera (Palo Alto, CA) in Apr 2019

      Interview

The interview process at Aisera is more intense than most companies that I've interviewed with. However, you interview with the founders, which is both exciting and nerve-wracking until you meet them. They care deeply about the company.
