Beginning of Covid. Did 5 separate calls leading to a long WebExec call with multiple members of the product management team. Most questions were scenario-based or based on previous experiences.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to learn something quickly.
I was contacted by a recruiter to set up a phone interview. On the day of the call, she was about 10 minutes late but was apologetic and nice. She asked general questions, tell me about yourself, why Alarm.com, do you know what Alarm.com does, what am I looking for, etc. Standard questions. I was surprised I didn't move on to the next round, but my interest in the position may have come off as low after she told me if I was comfortable with the position being 80% PROJECT management and only 20% PRODUCT management. If majority of the position entails Project Mgmt duties, the position should be called Project Manager Associate instead of Product Manager Associate. Two very different positions and career paths. It kind of makes sense, because I read a review of a former employee who advised that the position was Project Manager oriented. A bit false advertising
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Alarm.com (Tysons Corner, VA) in Mar 2020
Interview
I applied at a career fair to a position that they were recruiting for and got a text from the recruiter the next day about setting up a phone interview. The phone interview took about 30minutes and was a pretty standard question and answer session. I was interviewed by two people: The HR person and someone currently wokring in the position I was applying for.

They asked about a relevant project I had done, then asked me to explain it as if I was talking to a child who had no background in the material
