This was one of the weirdest interviews I've ever been on. First off, I felt like as friendly as the manager was, he and almost everyone I talked to was incredibly awkward to the point where I don't even think they wanted to give me a chance. Then I go to lunch with these two guys and it was anything but relaxing. When the food came out I was still being questioned 10 mins after it was served and even as I took my first bite the questions never took a moment to stop. Very rude and overall too quick, barely made a dent. Overall I think most of them had already made up their mind before seeing me, which is fine because their Z-Wave technology is a joke esp when you look at their app, the reviews for it, and their whole business model. The whole process took over the 4.5 hours it was proposed. Also, to have a candidate spend that long at the office is such a legacy move, could have been done via Zoom considering all the time and energy I've waisted.
