A couple days later I was asked to submit a writing sample of an IT Risk Assessment to get a feel for my writing style. I spent the next couple days working hard on the assessment and submitted it back to the hiring manager. Then radio silence despite many follow-ups. Finally 9 months later I received an automated rejection email.
