I had two rounds of technical interview and one round of HR. I was interviewed for Wireless domain for RNC testing team. The overall experience was good. I was a fresher so most of the questions were from resume. In the first round, they asked questions on Call flow diagram for UMTS, RRC states and on 3G technology. Few programming questions based on linked list, file read etc was also asked. Second round was also technical, few managerial level questions were also there. Types of questions asked: 1. There were questions on UMTS architecture, protocol stack, Radiobearers, ciphering and integrity, HSDPA, HSUPA principle of operation, entities used on UE side and Node B/ RNC side, TCP/IP model, TCP, UDP . 2. Implementation of a student data base like marks , name in a linked list 3. Dynamic memory allocation, stack and queue implementation 4. To read a line for text file and display it. 5. Modulation types, sampling, quanitization, filter types etc. 6. Questions on memory segments,pipelining etc was also asked. other questions were based on Resume.
