Allan Myers Instructional Designer interview questions

I received a call from a recruiter who grilled me about where I live. Like specifically. Only to tell me she didn't know Philadelphia well. Then told me that while I had a great resume, she thinks my commute is too far so I can't be considered for the position. I told her, shouldn't taking on a commute be my decision? I'm aware of where your company is located. She proceeded to re-explain that my commute is too far and I can't be considered for the position in a more annoyed tone of voice.
