Hiring Manager was very nice and responded to inquiries quickly. However after that I found the process strange and unprofessional. I had a “pre-interview” at a local cafe where the interviewer was scarfing down his lunch while I tried to tell him about my background. I felt like I was the one conducting the interview. The whole situation was very strange in my experience. Apparently I was deemed worthy of continuing with a second interview at the actual office. I should have declined. I met with a panel a panel of three higher level managers. It was an exhausting hour of them firing questions at me. “Tell me about a time when you...” Not conversational at all. One of the managers, was rather rude and condescending. I decided about half way through I wasn’t even interested in the job/ company if these were the kind of people I’d be working with.
