Alliance Health(NJ) Operations Manager interview questions

The recruiter reached out to schedule a virtual interview. That went well, and a virtual interview with other operations managers was scheduled. The managers on the call were not professional at all. One had her camera off, and the second person seemed very disinterested in the role and interview process. I was then scheduled for an in person interview with the hiring manager. The communication was fast and friendly during the interview process. The hiring manager basically explained that the role is sort of a babysitting role as the employees can act like children and the person in this role needs to be the mature figure on site, which is not exactly what a clinical operations manager role consists of. After the final interview, which went extremely well, I was told that a decision would be made in a few days. The HR rep told me that the management team was making a decision for several weeks, and then sent me a generic email stating that they are pursuing other candidates. I followed up with the hr rep, who responded a few days later with a message that the position was put on hold. That was not true as the job posting continues to get renewed and the position is listed as active on their job board. They provided no further communication and ignored any follow up questions.
