I submitted my application online and received an email out of the blue with an interview without any communication prior. I asked for the interview to be rescheduled to a more convenient time and they were willing to reschedule. However, when the interview came around I received no call. So I called the recruiter only to hear every conversation of her colleagues in the background. Then almost two months went by with no communication from the recruiter and the only time I did receive any communication back was after I reached out to the recruiter several times. Then I found out they filled the role but were interested in interviewing me for other roles they have open and asked me if I wanted to chat. So again no response with auto-reply messages that said the recruiter was out of the office in March. Long story short, after reaching out multiple times and the recruiter not taking me seriously as a candidate, I decided to interview with companies that truly value the candidates they are interviewing and treat them like their employees. If I was treated this way as a candidate, how do they treat their employees?
