My interview process was very unorthodox. I met the woman who would eventually become my direct supervisor at my university's career fair. We had a good conversation, and she told me to apply to a specific requisition number when it popped up on the company careers website. I did, and HR contacted me shortly after. I had an interview on my campus with the woman I had met at the career fair. She didn't really ask me any typical interview questions. She basically just explained the position to me and asked if I thought I would be a good fit for it. I explained why my background made me a good candidate and told her that I was very interested, and I received an offer from HR within a couple weeks.
