I had submitted an application for a different role but was contacted by a recruiter for this role. I was asked for availability to discuss the role and provided multiple days and times to connect. I did not hear back from the recruiter until a couple of hours before my last available time for that week. She told me she was too busy and asked me to give her some more times for the following week, which I did. We were able to connect , but the entire process was lackluster and left me feeling like she wasn't really interested in talking to me. The few questions I asked about culture were met with a sigh and a short matter of fact answer. At the end of the interview she said she would get back to me after she talked to the hiring team. A few days later she emailed me saying they were looking at other candidates. I am happy with their decision. My perception of them was that they weren't a good fit for me either.
