I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Allianz (Pune) in Jun 2019
Interview
Overall - by revenue it might be 13,055.7 crores EUR company -
but very poor salary as per current captive industry standards in PUNE -
interview process was good enough - they have 2 rounds of interview
where 1st would be technical and 2nd would be managerial and technical both
They asked and good amount of questions - and questions were descent
Here comes the surprising part - HR communication and Salary
I was contacted by HR after 2 weeks - that was my HR round
After the HR round - i got a mail asking for documents after almost 1 week.
I shared my documents - and there was no response for a month
then i tried reaching back HR - over mail and telephone.
Was able to get in touch with HR - by telephone
First of all HR could not remember - and when HR was able to get hold of my mail -
HR said - you package is already high , we can not afford it .
So i tried asking like - what is the salary range that Allianz offers -
It was just around - 2N + 1 (where N is experience in years )
What they were offering me was lesser than my current salary
and that too some variable part around 5 %
If this company is really that big , why can't they offer descent salary as per other
captiv firms in the market.
I had a very positive experience with HR and two tech interviews last week. The questions were clear, and I believe I did really well. Unfortunately, I heard no feedback yet.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Allianz (Barcelona) in Aug 2024
Interview
The interview consisted of three meetings: one for presentation, another with a very large technical team of 6 people, and a final one with the leader. There were many technical questions about performance and vision and alignment with the company's values.
After three weeks, they told me that I had passed all the interviews and that I should wait for the contract; two weeks later, they told me that the position had been closed, and I was left waiting for the contract when I had already said no to other offers. Very bad on the part of this company.
