Fairly easy process with straightforward questions. They test your customer service skills which security is primarily about besides observing and reporting. Drug tests are mandatory, along with dpsst training on the spot that is paid for.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are your experiences in customer services? How would you deal with a confrontational client/customer?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Allied Universal
Interview
After submitting my application, I received an e-mail with instructions to complete a one-way video interview. A few days after this was completed, I received a phone call from the Account Manager for the location to schedule an in-person interview. During the in-person interview itself, I was asked several questions to determine any existing qualifications, prior experience, and understanding of the job I was applying for, along with schedule preferences. Once the interview was completed, I was given an offer shortly after and sent to the nearest branch office to complete onboarding and guard certification.

Question 1
I was asked if I possessed an active CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
Pretty standard interview questions. Made sure you were a fit. They wanted to make sure you could work certain schedules and see how flexible you could be, what you were looking for in terms of compensation.
