I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Bothell, WA) in Apr 2016
Interview
I was interviewed by two people. Before the interview began, they asked me to tell them about myself and why that brought me to Allstate. I tried to keep that reasonably short - 30 seconds to 1 minute.
After that, they explicitly said they had five questions for me and were looking for STAR stories. They were both very kind and assured me that I could ask them to repeat questions if needed.
My entire interview took about 30 minutes and I had an hour time slot. But then again, it was only 5 questions.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Macon, GA) in May 2017
Interview
Applied online, completed an over the phone interview, then I was scheduled to meet with a manager. The job description that I applied for and was given by the recruiter, was totally different from the description that was given at the interview. The interview was a complete waste of time. As soon as the interview began, I knew that I wouldn’t get the position. I was told that they were looking for someone preferably with a masters degree although I had the experience.
