I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Roanoke, VA) in Aug 2015
Interview
Everyone was very friendly, but the interview was nothing but arbitrary questions starting with "Tell me about a time when..." It was a lot of on-the-spot story telling; I'm usually prepared for those kind of questions, but they were such oddly specific questions it was truly hard to answer without pausing to think. Some, I simply couldn't answer without blatantly making something up. I've been to many more productive interviews that had a great flow and really allowed everyone to get to know each other; this one was just awkward and uncomfortable. It seemed to still go positively, as I tried to respond candidly and honestly. At the end they took me into the call room, let me sit in on calls, showed me the software and introduced me to several key employees in that division. It felt like it ended on a positive note, only to receive a generic "We chose someone else" email almost 2 weeks later.

Question 1
Can you tell me about a time you couldn't see eye to eye with a coworker
Very thorough, but friendly. They do ask the common interview questions using the STAR method and then go through the job responsibilities and training schedule. They answered any questions you may have that were not apparent in the job listing.
Too many interviewers on Zoom to focus on questions being asked and who was asking. Very distracting from the whole interview process. I wish they gave an interview rating or a reason as to why I was not chosen

Question 1
I do not recall the exact questions that were asked other than presented with scenarios
Smooth managers was understanding. They understood my experiences with previous employers. I will work three again, I just left because I had to move out of country for a while.
