I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ally Financial (Detroit, MI) in Jan 2021
Interview
The first round was a phone screen with an HR recruiter to discuss my qualifications, why I am interested in the position, and I believe I am a good fit. The next round was a Zoom video call with the Hiring Manger (Director), along with two other colleagues in the Development/Delivery space and the questions were mostly technical related. The third and final interview was with the same Hiring Manager and two of his peers from other business units. More technical questions, and situational, and leadership as well.

Question 1
What test automation framework would you recommend for front-end automation for a Java web based application that also has a need for API automation?
5 person panel asking questions pertaining to QA, Automation, Agile and transformation for waterfall to agile. This was done in person in a office. Everyone was very nice and they all made me feel very welcome.
Easy interview, with few technical questions. Mostly questions about experience and familiarity with their tech stack. I expected to be given test scenarios and get asked about TDD and other methodologies, but they seemed more interested in how to manage and lead a group of testers onsite and offshore.
