I applied online. I interviewed at AlphaGraphics (Atlanta, GA) in May 2017
Interview
I've interviewed with both AlphaGraphics Chamblee and AlphaGraphics West Midtown Atlanta. Neither was a good experience.
The owner of AG Chamblee asked my starting pay during the interview, basically told me he could pay me half of what I was worth and that it would be up to me to turn the position into a full-time job (major red flag). He the position offered no benefits, meaning I'd lose my health insurance by taking it. I never bothered following up with him.
The owner of AG Midtown, I specifically asked to send me ANY documents or forms that needed to be filled out before the interview as we scheduled it. Lo and behold I get to the interview and have to spend 20 minutes of it filling out a paper duplicate of my initial job application by hand because he and his wife ignored this request. During the interview, he seemed more focused on my previous salary than my actual qualifications. He came across as very unprofessional. In this case, I didn't bother sending a thank you email after the interview either.
I was asked about my previous skills at my last Sign Company. The Interviewer Valued Collaboration, and walked me through the plan for the requested position.
There was an initial interview, and a secondary walk through the location, equipment, and the projects that is projected to handle, as well as the expectations of the job.
