I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at AlphaSights (London, England) in Nov 2025
Interview
There is a 15 min vetting interview. Very short.
- tell me about yourself
- your understanding of the role
- what would make you a good fit for the role/your skills/ experiences that align with the role
- why do you want the role
- who are our competitors
- what differentiates us
- what else are you applying for
- why would you choose this role over another role (from who you're applying for)
you won't get the opportunity to ask them questions
if you progress, you go to a 40 min first round interview

Initial call with a recruiter to gain an insight into the role. This was followed by two subsequent calls with more senior members of staff which entailed more technical questions. A language test also had to be carried out.

Question 1
Describe a situation in which you had to work under pressure.
The interview process was three rounds. Initial screening, one on one interview, I didn't make it past the second round, but there was a final interview with team lead afterward.

Question 1
Role a play a scenario based on the case study you're given.
Stay away. Realized how much of a scam it is as I went through- ended on my own accord after final round. There will be no exit opportunities with this company whatsoever. You will be stuck. Know some friends who have worked here and regret every second of it.
