I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at AlphaSights
Interview
Four rounds of Interview for more than three months: 1) video assessment 2) behavioral interview with a consultant 3) case + behavioral interview with a senior consultant and a manager 4)Final round with VP. Unnecessary long and complex process.
Honestly speaking, not a fan of this company at all. The service is interesting, but more a sales perspective. "How would you persuade a professional to work for us? What's their gain and loss?" If you are looking for consulting jobs as in MBB, this is definitely not the thing.
Two bad experience about the interview process. The first round interview is about one month after being scheduled through email, and the interviewer totally forget it!! I doubt the professional and task management about this company as how is it possible to forget an event with a google calendar invitation as a 'consultant'. The other bad experience is during the final round. I cannot feel the patience and respect from the VP at all, trying to interrupt my words, showed no interest through the interview and just wanted to jump to the next question. Ask about what other companies I am applying to, any competitors, and why I fail in those interviews. Feeling insulted when he tried to dig all past failures. Overall, the previous two conversations were good but the last one made a negative turn. Not yet receive the decision after the final round, but going to reject it anyways.
