Interview
Interview process: HR phone screening, followed by more in depth video interview with recruiter. Make sure you watch the video on the BREAD process to be successful in this round. Next is case interview with a mock phone call as well as a behavioral interview.
I have never been compelled to write a Glassdoor review before, but I have had such a negative experience with this interview process that I felt I needed to share. All interviewers I came across were, in my opinion, rude and unprofessional, to the extent that by the time I got to the last round I knew I would not accept an offer if it was put on the table. I could tell that every interviewer was not actually paying attention to what I was saying, and would ask questions about things I had just explained. I was particularly put off by the last round interview, as the interviewer was pulling faces at my answers and talking to other people or doing other tasks whilst interviewing me. I understand people are busy, but that doesn't excuse a lack of respect for the time that the candidate is taking out of their day to interview as well.
In my opinion, the interview process can reveal a lot about a company, especially its culture and what kind of people you would be around. If your interviewers are actively trying to put you down or make you uncomfortable during the interview process, that should give you an insight into the kind of environment you would be working in. Remember an interview is not just a one way street!
Easy and transparent with steps and timeline. Took about 2 weeks from start to offer but flexible with timing of interviews, you make times mostly, with final round as exception
questions about resume and applicability to the role, also asked what other roles i’m recruiting for. didn’t get a second interview but i wasn’t too enthusiastic —- wish I’d rehearsed my answers to why Alphasights before
