I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (New York, NY) in Oct 2019
Interview
The first interview was a video call with one of their recruiters. Prior to the call they had sent me a video to watch that went over their company specific BREAD process which is basically what the associates do. They will later ask you about this. They walk through my resume with me, asked a few questions about myself and then dived into the company. They also asked what I knew about alphasights and what they do. I was invited to their office in NY for a second round interview. To prepare for this interview they sent me one sheeter on alphasights and more videos on the bread process. This interview was about 2 hours long. The first hour I spent doing a case study which was basically a mock of a case. I was given 10 minutes to review it and come up with a list of professionals I would contact. The person interviewing me, a manager, came back in and went over my answers with me and we talked it through and made edits. The second hour was once again going over the case study but then also doing a mock phone call with a VP. They would pretend to be one of the professionals you listed and you would have to seal the deal with them.
One thing that was super helpful was that there are tons of quizlets about the company. Not sure why but it helped when doing my research. I heard about the opportunity through my college's job board and was reached out to by a recruiter - after I received no offer after the second round she sent me the same message a few weeks later. So that's one thing that could be a little bit more streamlined.
Easy and transparent with steps and timeline. Took about 2 weeks from start to offer but flexible with timing of interviews, you make times mostly, with final round as exception
