I have passed the first stage online video interview for AlphaShights London and Dubai. Only got to go to the next stage for the Dubai position.
The questions were similar in both cases. I was reading the posts on Glassdoor and it was not clear to me how the online interview worked. It is quite unusal to record yourself answering motivation questions. You however do have the chance to re-submit your online interview once more.

Interview
The interview was conducted online and lasted around 20 minutes. It was a one-to-one video interview with a hiring manager. The questions were mainly focused on my background, previous experience, and motivation for applying to the Graduate Analyst position. They also asked about my expected salary and availability. The atmosphere was professional but friendly, and the interview followed a structured format.
Good interview, asking primarily about characteristics and personal experiences. Very self-focused, with a lot of emphasis on personality rather than technical ability. Overall interviewers in both screening and first-round interviews were nice people and polite.
