I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AlphaSights (Minneapolis, MN) in Apr 2022
Interview
I went through 4 rounds
- informational interview with a recruiter
- first round interview (baseline questions to gage what did in high school/college, likes/dislikes, etc.)
- second round interview (2 hours - role play for one hour and situational/behavioral for the second hour)
- third round interview (met with a VP, more in-depth regarding my resume and my time interviewing wifh alphasights, etc)
- final phone call with results
Overall the process was long but worth it. They were quick with responses and very helpful with the process. Felt really comfortable the entire time! Long process but it’s great interview practice and is really nice being able to speak to so many different people and get a more well rounded view of the company!

Question 1
- tell me about the BREAD process
- what did you major in? Why?
- where do you see yourself in 5 years? What are you doing?
Three rounds - first round general competency, second round case study and phone call role play, third round an hour long competency and experience interview with a VP. Third round was a longer and more difficult version of first round. Second round involved one case study with access before, and the second case study was done on the spot.

Coffee chat with Alphasights recruiter
One to one interview with recruiter - regular STAR questions, ended up asking about my proficiency in a third language I spoke even though that wasn't what I was recruited for
Interview with VP(?)
3-4 stages, last stage was really unexpected a far more intense behavioural and background interview, wasn't really given any materials from the company. However HR was super helpful whenever I reached out.
