I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (New York, NY) in Sep 2022
Interview
Screening call with a recruiter, followed by a video call covering case-based questions, and then a final third round. The process was quite simple, they do state its an entry-level role, however during the case-based questions they were asking pretty in-depth questions that would be impossible for a college graduate to know without resources or exposure to account management. I'd suggest looking up examples online or reaching out to people to study beforehand.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q; Name a time you had to overcome a difficult decision at work
Q: Have you had to manage multiple projects simultaneously? How did you manage?
the first ai round was really easy. then the actaully first round was also Pretty easy first round. Asks you the basic questions. tell me about urself, what do you do at school etc.
I only attended the first interview. The HR manager was neither friendly nor unfriendly. It was just a normal screening interview. Only self-introduction and motivation for application were conducted in English, and the rest were conducted in Korean. The HR manager asked questions focusing on my background and history rather than understanding the job itself.
First round all behavioral. Mostly talking about previous experiences, how it applies to AlphaSights, and why AlphaSights is a fit role. Wasn't difficult, but unfortunately did don't get selected for some reason even though I thought it went very well.
