I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (London, England) in Oct 2022
Interview
Not a good experience, the kind of interview that makes candidates feel uncomfortable for no reason. The interviewer sat several feet away from the Zoom camera and fired off a list of questions ("tell me about a time...") with absolutely no interaction with my responses, beyond saying 'okay' or 'right.' Spent the entire time looking at their computer, supposedly typing notes, but it was clear they were not listening. The questions weren't hard, but it's challenging to speak eloquently when you feel like you're talking to a wall.
I was also told explicitly by the interviewer that they had not read my resume or the required writing assessment prior to the interview, which is a bit disheartening. This interview had no resemblance to a normal human interaction and left me completely uninterested in the company.

Question 1
1. why I want to move my job
2. what's my long-term goal
Interview process was ok, several stages and language test as it was a particular language speaking role, only downside really was very little feedback given at the end when not successful. When I asked for a feedback call as to why I wasn’t successful they didn’t answer my question and it was a 2 mins call saying that I was just unsuccessful.
