I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights
Interview
Went really well, or so I thought. The interviewers are stone-faced so it's tough to tell whether you answered a question well. Just know the company inside and out and act excited about the role. I thought I nailed the third and final interview but didn't get an offer. Before you accept the job position, make sure you read the reddit posts about alphasights. Good money, but at what cost to your career?
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1st interview- phone call (behavioral questions) 2nd interview- case study. they will give you a situation and ask you to find a couple experts. make sure you know and apply the value chain (find experts that align with one or two relevant parts of the value chain, for example, if it's about the athleisure industry, find a distributor and then maybe a retailer) idk i didn't get the job so.. third interview- hour long chat with vp, what are you most excited about, least excited about alphasights
the first ai round was really easy. then the actaully first round was also Pretty easy first round. Asks you the basic questions. tell me about urself, what do you do at school etc.
I only attended the first interview. The HR manager was neither friendly nor unfriendly. It was just a normal screening interview. Only self-introduction and motivation for application were conducted in English, and the rest were conducted in Korean. The HR manager asked questions focusing on my background and history rather than understanding the job itself.
First round all behavioral. Mostly talking about previous experiences, how it applies to AlphaSights, and why AlphaSights is a fit role. Wasn't difficult, but unfortunately did don't get selected for some reason even though I thought it went very well.
