I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (New York, NY) in Sep 2022
Interview
Short email response time. Hired students out of college but has a 3-step interview process. 1) Recruiting- short 15 min screening 2) Technical, they will give you a prompt, and you should understand the supply chain and read over the materials they give you. 3) with someone on the team.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
You have 10 minutes to go on LinkedIn to find 2 people that would be knowledgeable about this process (They will give you a prompt). its for the investors to know more about the healthtech companies. find someone who understands the revenue and supply chain. not the specific question but in general it will be similar to this but they will give you more information. Then you have 10 minutes to find 2 people. after the 10 minutes you have to explain your answers, they will give you feedback on the spot (Write it down) and then they will ask you, with the given feedback what would you improve in the future. it goes by really fast so know your stuff.
the first ai round was really easy. then the actaully first round was also Pretty easy first round. Asks you the basic questions. tell me about urself, what do you do at school etc.
I only attended the first interview. The HR manager was neither friendly nor unfriendly. It was just a normal screening interview. Only self-introduction and motivation for application were conducted in English, and the rest were conducted in Korean. The HR manager asked questions focusing on my background and history rather than understanding the job itself.
First round all behavioral. Mostly talking about previous experiences, how it applies to AlphaSights, and why AlphaSights is a fit role. Wasn't difficult, but unfortunately did don't get selected for some reason even though I thought it went very well.
