I applied in-person. I interviewed at AlphaSights (London, England) in Feb 2015
Interview
The first face-to-face interview took around one hour and mostly contained questions about the previous experience, your personal choice. Also I was asked about my understanding of the Alphasights business, their market and their competitors. We were talking a lot about working on a team (f.e. necessary roles in the team to be successful) and how you see yourself in the company in some years.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights
Interview
Sent out cv and short motivation, I got invited for an online video interview afterwards. You have to record yourself while answering some questions. Alphasights will then review your response. Before the video 'interview' you will have the opportunity to practice one question endlessly. If you are uncomfortable speaking just to your computer, I recommend practicing at least a couple of times.
