Before being selected for an interview, I had to complete multiple assessments. Some were online and one was in-person at the closest branch. The first step in the interview process was a video interview. The questions were prerecorded by HR and I recorded my response to them. There was an opportunity to redo the answers. It felt like a lot of personality was lost by doing the interview this way, but it was convenient to do it on my own time. Several days later, HR called and asked if I could do an in-person interview with two executive officers. They were very nice and asked fairly common interview questions. Within a week, HR called back to let me know they had chosen another candidate. This seemed reasonable, as it was not the best fit for either side.
