I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Alta Resources (Neenah, WI)
Interview
I applied online and received an email a week later for a phone interview. The interviewer called 7 minutes later than scheduled; I understand that isn't extremely later than promised but I believe if the company expects promptness then it should be as well. She seemed rushed and unprofessional and spoke very fast, although it was obvious she was reading from a list of questions. The phone interview was very easy. She asked how I heard about Alta, why I was interested in applying, what qualifies me to apply, and reviewed my resume by confirming my job titles and asking why I left the position and salary of each, and confirming my degree and graduation year. She then asked me how long do I expect to work for a company before advancing or applying to other internal positions (12 months) and what my salary expectations are. The interview was less than 8 minutes. She told me the CSR starting pay is $12 to $13/hour and that I have qualifications for Team Lead positions but that there weren't any openings. She told me the pay of other positions that I qualify for but that there weren't any openings posted and said if I knew anyone that already works for the company because they might be able to. I told her I will keep those positions in mind and continue to visit the website for future opportunities.
