Interview
Before you can even get an interview to determine whether or not you're a good fit, you're still required to take a 30-45 minute Gallup assessment. The standards are ridiculously high, because I worked for this company before and was an excellent employee, but couldn't pass the Gallup test for my same job.
I think it's more than a little ridiculous for Altar'd State to put so much stock in an impersonal assessment that doesn't even account for the uniqueness of the individual (not to mention, has no method to weed out people who simply know how to game the system), rather than how well they can actually do the job and how they interview. It's quite sad to see really, because this was a great company when I worked for them, but the obsession with assessments doesn't really scream 'Stand Out For Good' to me.
It's disappointing, and I do hope they eventually return to judging candidates based on their actual skills (as I could go on and on about the problems with assessments), instead of how well they 'score' on a personality test.

It was a very relaxed group interview! They asked basic behavioral questions. They were very nice. They didn’t ask everyone the same question, they did smaller groups within the group answering.
My interview process at Alter'd State was very casual and welcoming. It was a group interview with two other candidates and lasted about 30 minutes. The interview focused on getting to know us rather than asking difficult technical questions. We were asked basic behavioral questions such as "Tell me about yourself" and "Describe a time you had to overcome an obstacle." The atmosphere was relaxed, and it felt more like a conversation than a formal interview.
Interview was very rushed and disorganized. No questions of mine really got answered. Talked about training process but there was none. Very culty weird vibes from the beginning especially with the very strict dress code
