Interview
The interview began with a virtual meeting to discuss my experience and GMP knowledge, followed by an invitation to an in-person interview to discuss the Quality Control Associate role further.
The interview process at Altasciences was structured yet personable, reflecting their commitment to both scientific excellence and collaborative culture. It began with a screening call where we explored my understanding of GMP, SOPs, and quality documentation. This was followed by a panel interview with members of the QC and QA teams, where we discussed real-world scenarios in sample verification, deviation handling, and data integrity.

Question 1
Q: “Can you walk us through how you would handle a situation where a test result falls outside of specification?”
This question tested both my understanding of deviation protocols and my ability to think critically under pressure. They wanted to hear how I’d follow SOPs, document the event, escalate appropriately, and contribute to the root cause analysis. It also highlighted how much they value regulatory compliance and attention to detail in ensuring data integrity.

Interview
The interview process was very smooth and straightforward. The interviewer was kind and the questions were fair. Most questions were about interpersonal skills and previous experiences, rather than technical questions.
