I interviewed for a Study Director position. The onsite interview was pretty straight forward with a presentation and reasonable interviews with the managers and the team. It went well enough. I was disappointed when I received a verbal offer from the recruiter a few weeks later though. It was below the listed salary on the job description and I was told there was no room for negotiation. The listed salary was already quite low, so I declined. It definitely felt like a bait and switch, as I believe they wanted to offer me a position at a lower level than the job description.
