I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Altec Industries (Dixon, CA) in Nov 2016
Interview
I found Altec at a career at my local state university. They took my resume and then called back to invite me to a dinner in town with potential candidates a few days before doing a plant tour and panel interview. The process was refreshing, and the interviewers were pleasant. There were ~8 interviewers at 30 minutes per interview. Looked like a bright, cheery, productive environment.

I interviewed at Altec Industries (Winston-Salem, NC)
Interview
I applied and I received a phone interview within a week. I was then invited to an onsite interview a few weeks later. The onsite interview started with a plant tour and then took up the rest of the morning.
This was a one stage interview, Maybe a quick screening with HR and one with managers. Easy if you're going for an entry position as their expectations is to train you from nothing.

Interview
The interview process had multiple rounds, each one with two or three managers from a different department. There were all face to face, and all the questions were very typical behavioral questions.
