I applied online and was contacted by HR about two weeks later for an initial screening. I was then scheduled to talk to the hiring manager about a week later, which I thought went well. A week after that I was contacted again by HR to schedule an interview with an additional person. I felt really positive about my chances of getting the position after that final interview. It has now been four weeks and I have not heard a single thing from Altera. I sent a follow up email asking about the timeline and for an update on my status and they have completely ghosted me. Not a very professional move, especially to candidates that spent multiple hours interviewing and made it through the final round. Seems like many of these reviews have "ghosting" by Altera as a common theme.
