I had just the initial interview call with the recruiter on a Tuesday. I was told I would hear back Friday, and if I didn't -- to please follow-up. The recruiter was figuring out if the next step would be a 30-minute 1:1 or a 60-minute group interview. I followed up on Monday and never heard back. Completely unprofessional once in the interview process.

I had a very negative interview experience with a recruiter at Alteryx. They missed my interview the first 2 times I scheduled it (via Calendly) and nearly missed the 3rd time; I had to email them after 10 minutes and they joined saying “I was wondering why my calendar said I was busy.” The actual interview was just fine and the recruiter was pleasant and easy to chat with. I was really excited when they said they wanted to proceed with me meeting the team, but then they never followed up (despite me following up the same day, the next day, and twice more after that). I never got an official rejection but did learn that the role was filled.
