Applied online and was reached out to by a recruiter. Phone interview with recruiter which then led to an interview with the hiring manager. Spent the interview mainly talking about soft skills and culture. Very little was discussed about actually conducting training and learning development. Went to Richmond for in person interview. It was a panel interview and a 1:1 interview. The interview was very bland with at no point any assessment of skills or capability of doing the job listed. Instead the discussion was all about nebulous concepts and improving their undefined culture.
Altria is a great company in my opinion to potentially work for but the interview process seemed more of a personality test than hiring a professional to do a job.
