The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Altria in Jan 2011
Interview
My process took more than two months (was during the holiday season) from the time I applied to until my background check was completed. First there was a phone screen that took about 40 minutes. A week later I got a call back to see up a panel interview the next week. The panel interview started with you answering three questions on a sheet of paper. Then was taken to a room with three interviewers where I was asked situational questions. I.e. what would you do, what have you done, describe a time when, etc... A week after that I got a call to spend a day in the field with a unit manager where we went to different businesses and got a feel for what a day in the life of a TSM would be like. I was given an unofficial job offer at the end of the day but it was three days later before an official offer came in the mail. The background check took about 10 days from start to finish. It is a pretty extensive background check with former employers, education, drug screen, and criminal, so make sure you are completely up front on the application. They also like to see leadership qualities so if you have any make sure to express those.

Question 1
How would you pitch your sales story to this specific client?
First step was to answer screening questions and submit a resume. Second step was a pre recorded interview where you had to record yourself answering several questions and respond in writing about salary expectations.
3 steps - Behavioral, case study, and shadowing a manager. Very casual interview process. Focus on the STAR method and it'll be fine. For the case study you have to sell in a product by influencing the prospect with data and insights they provide
