A total of 7 stages, HR Screen x 2 then a video with a member of leadership. Next, an invite to a three-hour Zoom Panel - Speed Date consisting of several 1 x 1's with those who fired off behavior-based questions "Can you tell me about a time when" or "Can you detail XXX" The entire process was now completed, The members of the several 1 x 1's are made of a variety of backgrounds and fill different roles within the company which seems strange since this is a sales role and my experiences have been that while we would interact as peers they really might not be the best interview. At any rate, I was given NOTHING but positive feedback from EVERYONE I engaged with. I asked if anything would prevent me from moving forward for this role. Each was positive with comments like "YOU GET MY TWO THUMBS UP / 100%" "I've got all I need" and "I am passing you along, this is the final stage, and you have my vote" I circled up with the HR Representative after basically being ghosted for the next week and a half and was told they had not decided as a leadership team. This was a complete surprise to me as from the start all I had been told was I was the perfect fit for the position, there was never anything to indicate anything differently. I was eager to get the call with an offer, I was eager to get feedback from my amazing interview where I was told I shined. Then, I waited and waited, and finally... came the turndown, a templated email stating they had decided to move forward with someone not named me. So, if you're considering an interview here gang, realize that there are no return calls or calls of any sort, they don't even give you a phone number. All interactions are coordinated through HR and email or Zoom ONLY. No electronic signature has a phone number on it and when you follow up, even with a thank you; post-interview all along the way, which is professional right? Well, they don't respond. This has been the most disappointing experience I have ever had. I have no illusions; I am very well qualified for this position. Sadly, I can't explain where there might have been a disconnect; especially after being given so much positive feedback right up to the end. Was it all a lie? We're adults here and can take the truth... if it's not a fit then say it's not a fit. Please don't waste my time. The positive, now I get to compete against you as I set my sights on those you go up against daily. Watch me win, it's all I do. Shoulder, meet Chip, see you at the top!
