When I arrived for my first interview, I was immediately presented with a Wonderlic test and a personality assessment to complete. It's fine, but I wish I had known what to expect prior to my arrival. After the testing was completed, I interviewed with the current HR Manager who informed me the others I would need to meet with were not in the office and I would need to come back for a Second interview. This was also fine and we scheduled a time for me to return. I felt the second interview went well, however the president of the company was still not in the office. This meant they wanted me to come back a third time to meet with him. I came back a third time, although, it was becoming increasingly difficult to scheduled time away from my current full-time job to do this. All in all, I made 3 trips (taking PTO and paying tolls to cross the river for each interview) and was ghosted. I followed up via email thanking them for their time and indicating I looked forward to meeting with them and I heard nothing in return. Crickets were chirping. While I wasn't even sure I would have accepted an offer had I received one, the very least they could have done was to thank me for my time and let me know they chose a different candidate.
